Spotlight on the Class of 2021
A Time to Celebrate
After the many, many, many challenges of this school year, Aiken New Tech High School took time to celebrate the Class of 2021 as did many other schools over the last couple of weeks. Some of the activities at Aiken were “Signing Day”, where students signed to complete their 3-E Plans (Enrolled, Employed or Enlisted). Recruiters from the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State were there to celebrate the students. The JCG Career Specialist, Addy Kruse, and many JCG students helped to plan the event. The schools gave each student a senior gift.

During Class Day ceremony, JCG presented Classroom Leadership awards to students who went above and beyond in this challenging academic year. After the ceremony, seniors put their cap and gown on and paraded around the halls lead by the school band. The parade ended in front of the school with a group photo of the Class of 2021.

The award ceremony was live streamed here: (JCG awards at 1:03)
