Electrifying Excitement as Cincinnati Makes History in 2022!
Pureval becomes first Asian American Mayor of Cincinnati
Cincinnati’s newly elected mayor, Aftab Pureval, was sworn into office on January 4, making him the first Asian American to hold mayoral office in Cincinnati. Pureval's policy plans include funding several public safety programs, expanding affordable housing opportunities, creating programs to help low and moderate-income Cincinnatians achieve home ownership, and much more. The SWORWIB looks forward to partnering with Mayor Pureval and his team to strengthen our regional workforce system! To learn more about Mayor Pureval's policy plans, visit mayorelectaftab.com.

Go Bengals!
The SWORWIB congratulates our home team for rallying in overtime over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game on January 30th. This victory advances the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI, for the first time in 33 years, where they will face the Los Angeles Rams. The energy and excitement sweeping through the region is electric!
